Based on Article 7 of Law no. 119/2014 "On the right to information" (hereinafter "LDI"), the Ministry of Education and Sports (hereinafter "MAS") publishes the Transparency Program (hereinafter "PT") approved by the Commissioner for the Right to Information and Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter "Commissioner"). MAS publishes information according to its functional activity, and will review and update PT in any case of change in institutional activity, legal regulatory framework or any other element related to proactive transparency.
The categories of mandatory information to be made public are specified in the PT of MAS. Public information without request will be: complete, accurate, up-to-date, easy to consult, understandable, easily accessible and compatible with the original documents in the possession of MAS. Also, before publishing information, MAS assesses whether there are any legal restrictions on publication.
The acts that contain rules, norms or limitations of the fundamental rights and freedoms of the individual, as well as having a direct effect on them, are made public by posting or posting on the official website, within 48 hours of the approval of the act by MAS.
The transparency program specifies the categories of information that must be made public, the method of publication, as well as the legal provisions from which the obligation to publish arises. In publishing information, MAS takes into account the public interest and enables easy access to public information.
