Deputy Minister of MEFA Ms. Megi Fino received in a meeting the Chairperson of the International Center of Excellence of the War against Violent Extremism (Hedayah), Mr. Ali Rasheed Al Nuaimi, whom in the same time is Member of the National Federal Council of the United Arab Emirates, in the framework of the official visit that he is having in our country.

The interlocutors appreciated the friendly relations between our countries and expressed the will to further develop them, emphasizing the good possibilities that exist to further deepen the cooperation bilaterally and also in other dimensions such as the war against terrorism and extremism in all its forms. Both countries see terrorism as a global threat and in this framework the need for a better coordination between partners was emphasized.

The Chairperson of Hedayah, Mr. Al Nuaimi appreciated the role of Albania in the Balkan region and the importance of the Albanian factor on the peace and security of this region.
