Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Etjen Xhafaj paid a visit to Budapest. During the visit he met the Secretary of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, Levente Magyar. The main focus of this meeting was economic diplomacy, as well as the exchange of Hungarian experience in this field.

Deputy Minister Xhafaj asked to be informed in detail, on the transfer of institutions covering the components of economic diplomacy compared to the case of Albania, and in order to improve the efficiency of our country in this important area of ​​Albanian diplomacy.

Also, during this meeting, it was discussed on an expert level, about the topic of cooperation in each field of the Joint Albania-Hungary Economic Commission, in order to further coordinate the interactions in the conclusions reached as well as on the remaining unfinished issues.
