The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, during his official visit in Skopje had several meeting with the Albanian party leaders in North Macedonia.

Specifically, Cakaj had a meeting with the leader of the Alliance for Albanians, Ziadin Sela, the leader of the “BESA”, Bilal Kasami, the leader of the Albanian Democratic Party, Menduh Thaci, and the leader of Alternativa, Afrim Gashi.

During these meetings it was valued the irreplaceable role of the Albanian factor in developing the domestic democracy, in the process of the NATO integration and the path of North Macedonia towards the European Union.

Further, Chief Diplomat Cakaj emphasized the irreplaceable contribution of the Albanian factor in North Macedonia in protecting the national interests, the general institutional development and protecting the Euro-Atlantic direction of the country.
