The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, was welcomed in Antalya in a meeting by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlut Çavuşoǧlu.

Minister Xhaçka valued the intensification of the dialogue between the two countries, while stressing the need to implement the coordination of cooperation with a view to concretizing a real action plan for the Strategic Partnership Declaration.

The interlocutors agreed on the need for a concrete focus on increasing economic cooperation, especially in the fields of infrastructure, technology, higher education, tourism and culture. They also expressed their commitment to increase cooperation in regional and international forums and organizations.

Chief diplomat Xhaçka is in Turkey, leading the Albanian delegation to the Summit of the Cooperation Process in Southeast Europe, as well as to the Diplomatic Forum of Antalya.
