The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, during her speech at the European Integration Committee, emphasized that Albania continues to be committed to its reform agenda towards the EU.

The Minister said that this is one of the most successful periods in the history of Albania’s EU integration, thanks to the cooperation between Albania and EU towards a common objective: the European Albania and the European WB.

“Albania is committed to its path towards the EU and the transformation process that leads there. Therefore, all these reforms have constantly been the driving force of our government. Dear Commissioner, Albania will remain your close partner to achieve the objectives you listed in 2019, bringing us a geopolitical Commission, effectively pro-enlargement. You and the Commission remain the engine of the ever greater alignment of the region and especially Albania with the EU”, she said.

Minister Xhaçka and the Commissioner for Neighborhood and Enlargement, Oliver Varhelyi, were present today at the 12th meeting of the EU-Albania Association Stabilization Council.
