Igli Hasani, the minister of Europe and foreign affairs, attended the Southeast European Cooperation Process’s meeting of foreign ministers in New York.

Minister Hasani commended the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC) and the Chairpersonship-in-Office of North Macedonia for hosting the gathering in the spirit of boosting regional cooperation and accelerating the path of European integration.

The Albanian chief diplomat praised the role of the SEECP as a very important tool for multilateral diplomacy and emphasized that Albania remains fully prepared to take the Chairpersonship-in-Office of the SEECP for the period 2024-2025.

The SEECP summit acts as a unique platform which brings together EU member states, as well as aspiring members, with the aim of accelerating the integration processes of aspiring countries.
