The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs,in cooperation with the Embassies of the Republic of Albania in Israel and Egypt, continues its efforts to assist citizens facing difficulties due to the crises in Israel and Gaza. After several interviews in the media, the MEFA, with the help of the Albanian Embassy in Egypt, has been in contact with few Albanian citizens who want to leave Gaza.

In the past 48 hours, the MEFA  has been in constant communication with these citizens, who officially declared only two days ago that they are residing in Gaza. Previously neither the Israeli and the Egyptian authorities nor Albanian people residing in Gaza had provided any information to the MEFA.

Since the initial contact with these citizens, the MEFA  has maintained continuous communication with its representations in Egypt and Israel, as well as with international organizations, in order to facilitate the safe evacuation of citizens from Gaza.
