The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, is in Germany where she is participating in the proceedings of the Security Conference in Munich.

During the conference, Minister Xhaçka met with the Foreign Ministers of Germany, Annalena Baerbock, of Northern Macedonia, Bujar Osmani, of Kosovo, Donika Gërvalla and of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bisera Turkovic.

” A very constructive discussion on situation in the Western Balkan and Germany’s crucial contribution in developments in the region. Looking forward to working with Germany and to deepening the excellent cooperation between Albania and Germany”, said Minister Xhaçka after the meeting.

The Albanian chief diplomat is in Germany part of the Albanian delegation led by Prime Minister Edi Rama.

In addition to the Ukraine crisis, other important topics were discussed in the Security Conference, such as: climate change, digitalization, the struggle between democracy and autocracy, etc.
