Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

The Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, held a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro, Đorde Radulović.

Minister Xhaçka emphasized that an essential part of the discussion with counterpart Radulovic was the implementation of the agreements signed in the first G2G, for the opening of new points of entry and increasing investments and projects in the border areas.

“We are proud that the Albanians in Montenegro and the Montenegrin minority in our country have always been a unifying factor. The increase of investments in the areas inhabited by the Albanian population, the increase of the representation of Albanians in the central and local government, will strengthen the trust between the citizens and the government and between different ethnicities “, said Minister Xhaçka in the press conference after the meeting.

On the other hand, Minister Radulović stated that Montenegro is ready to provide technical assistance through experts, according to the European agenda.

“The Government of Montenegro wants to raise the partnership with Albania to a higher level. The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between our diplomatic academies will make possible the further cooperation of the diplomatic staff of the two countries,” said Minister Radulović in the press conference.

Minister Xhaçka and Minister Radulović signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academies of the two ministries, which according to them will increase the cooperation, not only between the Ministries, but among diplomats themselves as well.
