Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs welcomes the European Commission’s positive Report which proposes visa liberalization for the Kosovo citizens.

This is an important moment for Kosovo and its citizens. It is recognition of the work and political vision of the Kosovo government and its institutions in fulfilling the benchmarks set by the European Commission, including the ratification of the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro and a strengthened track record in the fight against organized crime.

This decision puts an end to the isolation of Kosovo citizens and gives the young people the opportunity to benefit from free movement.

This moment brings the entire region closer to the European Union.
