Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs announces that the internal procedures from the Italian government for the agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses between Albania and Italy have been completed.

This agreement will enter into force after 60 days, on July 12, 2021.

The agreement on mutual recognition of driving licenses between the two countries was approved on March 12 during the visit of the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, in Italy.

On March 18, the agreement was signed in Tirana by Minister Xhaçka and the Italian Ambassador to Albania, Fabrizio Bucci.
