BILATERAL RELATIONS BETWEEN ALBANIA AND LUXEMBOURG

Luxembourg, officially the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a landlocked country in Western Europe. It borders Belgium to the west and north, Germany to the east and France to the south. Its capital, the City of Luxembourg, is one of the four official capitals of the European Union (along with Brussels, Frankfurt and Strasbourg) and the seat of the Court of Justice of the European Union, the highest judicial authority in the EU. Its culture, people and languages ​​are highly intertwined with its neighbors, making it a mix of French and German cultures. Luxembourgish is considered the national language of the Luxembourg people. In addition to Luxembourgish, French and German are used in administrative and judicial matters; all three languages ​​are jointly considered the administrative languages ​​of Luxembourg. As a representative democracy with a constitutional monarch, and is ruled by Grand Duke Henry being the only major sovereign duchy remaining in the world.

 

The current relations between Albania and Luxembourg are considered very good. In the context of intensifying the political dialogue with Luxembourg, the exchange of high-level visits is viewed with interest, with the conviction that these visits will contribute to the expansion and concretization of cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
