The Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs informs that the Greek Government has announced the restrictions on the entry of passengers via land to Greece, including the border points with Albania. The news was announced by the Government Spokesman, Stelios Petsas.

Specifically, starting from November 20, 2020, at 06:00 in the morning, the border point in Kapshtica will be closed, while it remains open the border point in Kakavija. With regard to the other northern borders of the country, the border crossings at Evzonoi and Promachona will remain open, while only trucks will enter through Nymfea.

Further, citizens entering Greece, in addition to showing the negative PCR test done up to 72 hours, will also do a rapid test by Units of the General Secretariat of Civil Protection and the National Organization of Public Health of Greece. Persons who test negative can enter the country and go to their destination, based on the PLF document they will submit.

This decision applies only to the above-mentioned land borders, while the air borders remain open.
