Deputy Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Megi Fino, participated in the first Regional Conference “Women in Foreign Policy” held in Skopje, North Macedonia.

During her speech on the panel “Women in Foreign Policy – Perspectives of the Western Balkans”, Deputy Minister Fino presented Albania’s achievements in strengthening the role of women in Albanian society.

Fino emphasized that there was substantial growth in the involvement of women in important decision-making processes, as well as in foreign policy.

At the end of the conference, a Joint Declaration was ratified where important objectives were set to achieve strengthening women’s rights.
