The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs informs that Guyana and Qatar has concluded the domestic legal procedures for the entry into force of the visa waiver agreement with Albania. Via a Facebook post, MEFA notifies that as for the agreement with Guyana, the citizens that have diplomatic, service and the usual passports will be exempted for the requests for entry, exit and transit visas for a time period from 90 days to 6 months.

Those that are planning to stay beyond this time period, are requested to be issued the appropriate visa before arrival, or if they are in Guyana to apply before the 90 days expiration.

In the meantime, in the framework of the agreement with Qatar, the valid diplomatic passports for the Albanian counterpart and the valid diplomatic passports and special for the contracting counterpart were included.

The citizens of both counterparts, who are holders of the passports specified above, can enter the territory of the other counterpart without visa and can stay there for 90 days. Those who want to enter the territory of each state for work purposes, professional and study reasons, are obliged to be granted a visa before.
