In the framework of the International Day of United Nations Peacekeepers, the Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, brought to attention all men and women who risk their lives to bring peace and stability to the countries suffering from war and conflict.

Minister Xhaçka shared on social networks some photos of the members of the Albanian Armed Forces who are serving since 2019 in the UN peacekeeping mission in South Sudan.

Chief diplomat affirmed that Albania as a candidate for a non-permanent seat in the Security Council 2022-2023, remains committed to conflict prevention and resolving crises, as a dimension of building and sustaining peace.
