The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Albania welcomes the ratification by the Greek Parliament of the Agreement reached in Prespa as a key contribution to stability, development and Euro-Atlantic integration of the entire region.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs applauds this victory of diplomacy, which comes also thanks to the undisputable contribution of the Albanian factor in Macedonia.

Albania will continue to strongly support the further procedural steps towards the full and comprehensive implementation of the Prespa Agreement.

The today’s ratification of Prespa Agreement by the Greek Parliament leads to the final settlement of a nearly thirty-year dispute between our two neighbors, consolidating the Euro-Atlantic future of southeastern Europe.
