Albanian Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs applauds and welcomes the Agreement reached between political parties Albanian Alternative (ASH), the Albanian Democratic League (LDSH) and the Albanian Democratic Union (UDSH) for a pre-election coalition, “Albanian Forum”, for the local elections in the Municipality of Tuz, Montenegro. This agreement ensures the unification of the political action and maximization of the vote of Albanians, as well as enables the representation of the Albanian parties with a single list.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs congratulates the leaders of the “Albanian Forum” political forces for their patriotic and democratic vision. The achievement of this agreement proves the increase of national awareness and political accountability of the Albanian political factor in Montenegro, as an inspirational example for Albanian political forces in other countries of the region as well.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs expresses the full conviction that this long-awaited cooperation will be long-term and will extend to the upcoming general elections in Montenegro. Together these parties will best represent the interests and aspirations of Albanians in Montenegro.

The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs emphasizes that a strong and united Albanian political factor will better serve the Euro-Atlantic integration of Montenegro, as well as strengthen democracy and sustainable development in this friendly country of Albania.
