The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj had a virtual meeting today with Congressman Eliot Engel.

As Chief Diplomat Cakaj emphasized in a Facebook post, Congressman Engel assured him that he will work closely with the Biden Administration to give the proper attention to Kosovo, Albania and Albanians.

Engel also emphasized that Kosovo and Albania will always have a special place in his heart.

Cakaj furthermore expressed his gratitude for everything that the Congressman has done, from objecting the regime of Milosheviç, to the support of the Albanian OSCE Chairmanship.
