Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, informed via a Facebook post that the National Albanian Council has undertaken a precious campaign these days to collect the personal data of all Albanians with passive addresses in Medvedje, Bujanovac and Presevo.

“For this reason, especially these days we have closely communicated with the Head of the Council, Mr. Ragmi Mustafa, to oversee the progress of this initiative.”- Cakaj said in his post.

Cakaj also emphasized that the precise documentation of the addresses is a precondition to treat this arbitrary and discriminating process towards the Albanians in the Valley.

Chief Diplomat Cakaj called on all citizens that have passive addresses to submit their cases to the offices of the National Albanian Council in Bujanovac and Medvedje.

“We will continue with our unsparing support with concrete political, institutional and diplomatic acts to continue the support for the Albanians in the Presevo Valley.”- Cakaj concluded his post.
