The acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a phone call with the Estonian Foreign Minister, Urmas Reinsalu.

The counterparts discussed in particular the cooperation between the two countries on the multilateral level.

“First of all, thank you for the continuous support for the Albanian Integration process in the European Union.” – said Cakaj via a Facebook post, regarding the call.

Further, the two ministers talked about the virtual meeting of the Foreign Ministers of OSCE organized by Albania, as Chairman.

“Thankful  to Estonia not only for the political support for Albania’s candidacy in the Security Council 2022-2023, but also the readiness for technical assistance to the team of diplomats involved in this process.” – Chief Diplomat Cakaj concluded the reaction.
