The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a phone conversation with his Canadian counterpart, François-Philippe Champagne.

In a Facebook post related to the phone call, Cakaj expressed that Champagne and him, shared the same opinion that the role of OSCE is irreplaceable in solving the situation in Belarus.
“Albania as the current chair of OSCE is ready to take all the responsibilities to find a peaceful and democratic solution in Belarus.” – Cakaj emphasized in his post.

Chief Diplomat Cakaj declared that Canada fully supports the offer of Albania and highly values the commitments of the current OSCE Chairmanship.
