The acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a phone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, François-Philippe Champagne.

In a Facebook post, Cakaj noted that the conversation focused on joint work in the fight against COVID-19, cooperation in the field of health and the need for measures for economic recovery.

The two counterparts also focused on cooperation within NATO, the OSCE and mutual support in various international institutions.

“We positively assessed the bilateral cooperation and confirmed the will to further deepen our relationship through concrete projects.” – Cakaj concluded his Facebook status.
