The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a phone conversation today with the Minister of Trade of the Republic of South Korea, Ms. Yoo Myung-hee.

The discussions focused on the need for the economic cooperation between the two countries, especially through some concrete projects in the field of information technology.

Moreover, in a Facebook post related to the phone call, Cakaj expressed that with Minister Myung-hee he discussed in details about the cooperation in several international organizations, with a special focus in the World Trade Organization.

“Further, South Korea offered its support for Albania’s bid for a non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council 2022-2023”- concluded Cakaj.
