During his stay in Munich, Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj met with the President of North Macedonia Stevo Pendarovski and with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia Nikola Dimitrov.

Discussions focused on the European perspective of both countries, and the reforms carried out in the framework of the opening of accession negotiations with the European Union.

The Head of Albanian diplomacy Cakaj stated in a Facebook post that the participants in these meetings exchanged opinions, and coordinated their positions in terms of the work to be done prior to the decision to launch negotiations for Albania and North Macedonia.
