During his stay in Munich to attend the Security Conference, Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj met with the Slovenian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miro Cerar.

In the course of their discussions, the parties once again laid emphasis on how particularly important is the start of the EU membership negotiations with Albania during 2020.

‘Such decision will carry special weight so as to further advance the reforms, support development across the region, and maintain the EU’s reliability across the Western Balkans overall!’ Cakaj stated about the meeting in a Facebook post.
