The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, participated in the meeting organized by the Estonian Presidency of the Security Council, to discuss the political developments 75 years after the ending of the World War II.

In his remarks, the Head of the Albanian Diplomacy Cakaj emphasized not only the historic contribution of Albania to defeat the Nazi-fascist forces, but also the current contribution in the service of peace, security, freedom and fundamental rights in the world.

“As the OSCE Chairmanship-in-Office, Albania has proved its abilities in successfully fulfilling extraordinary international responsibilities. Based on this, our commitment is unsparing to achieve the place of the non-permanent seat in the Security Council 2022-2023.” – emphasized Cakaj during his remarks.
