The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, informed via a Facebook post that for the second year in a row, Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in close cooperation with the Minister of Diaspora, is distributed free textbooks in Albanian for all the Albanian students in diaspora.

The Embassies of the Republic of Albania are distributing around 17.000 textbooks, in all the places where Albanians live.

As Chief Diplomat Cakaj emphasized, this is a meaningful contribution in preserving the culture and strengthening the national identity.

“The main merits however go to the precious teachers and students that despite the distance continue to preserve the Albanian language and to exalt the national heritage everywhere in the world.”- said Cakaj in his post.
