While in the High-level Conference on European Perspective, convened in Thessaloniki, Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj met the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo Glauk Konjufca. At the end of the meeting Cakaj and Konjufca released a joint statement addressed to the Albanian political class in the Presheva Valley.

The following is the Joint Statement released by Cakaj and Konjufca:

While being in charge of the state’s foreign policy and relations of the Republic of Kosovo and Albania, respectively, we once again underline the importance of supporting the coalition of the Albanian political parties in the Presheva Valley. This coalition is crucial to help uplift the national spirit, and retain the political rights of the Albanians in the Presheva Valley. Therefore, we will spare no effort to provide support to and see the United Valley project through to the end!
