The attack on the Embassy of Montenegro in Belgrade has also been condemned harshly by Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj.

Cakaj declared in a Twitter post that the attack on the Embassy of Montenegro by Serbian extremists is unacceptable.

Amongst others, the Head of Albanian diplomacy Cakaj emphasised that in no way should a diplomatic mission be made subject to acts of vandalism, and that views should be addressed through dialogue.

The violent attack on the Embassy of Montenegro in Belgrade is absolutely unacceptable. A diplomatic mission should not be made subject to acts of vandalism. Different views should be addressed through dialogue. There can be no room for violence in the democratic societies.
