The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a phone call with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia, Gordan Grliç Radman. The discussions focussed on the cooperation on the fight against the pandemic and preparations for the Zagreb Summit.

“In the circumstances of the pandemic, there will be a video conference of the leaders of the European Union and the Western Balkans.”- Cakaj notified in a Facebook post, related to the phone call that took place with the Croatian counterpart.

According to the Head of Albanian Diplomacy, this conference is very important for the coordination of efforts and the strengthening of solidarity among the countries of EU and the Western Balkans, to defeat COVID-19.
