The acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a phone conversation today with the UK Minister for European Neighborhood and Americas, Wendy Morton.

The discussion focused particularly on the excellent cooperation within the OSCE and Albania’s aim to serve as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council in 2022-2023.

“The United Kingdom highly appreciates the inter-party agreement on electoral reform and strongly supports Albania’s European path!” – said Chief Diplomat Cakaj in a status on Facebook, regarding the telephone conversation.

The two ministers also agreed to continue talks on concluding several agreements, in order to deepen relations between the two countries.
