Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Ms. Olta Xhaçka, participated in a webinar titled “Unique Relations Revisited: 65 Years of Progress,” organized on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of reestablished relations between Albania and Austria.

During the meeting, Minister Xhaçka expressed her most profound gratitude for the unconditional disposition that Austria has shown towards Albania, for its support in Albania’s EU integration processes, and for assisting Albania’s efforts for securing its first intergovernmental conference in 2021.

“I hope that the Austrian-Albanian friendship, based in such deep and longstanding foundations will expand even further through our diplomatic collaboration when Albania achieves to get a non-permanent seat in the UN’s Security Council, something that Austria has fully supported. This friendship will expand also through our partnership in business, development, culture and education,”- the Chief Diplomat stated.
