Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Olta Xhaçka, commemorated today the 12th anniversary of Albania’s membership in NATO.

Minister Xhaçka stated that during these years, Albania has managed to gain the trust of the allies as a reliable partner and serious contributor to the collective security of the Alliance.

Chief diplomat Xhaçka stressed that the next challenge of the country remains the integration into the European Union.

“With considerable work ahead and a lot of dedication, this challenge will be won step by step, starting from the holding of the First Intergovernmental Conference within this year”, said the Minister.
