Accreditation of foreign journalists in Albania

This service is offered to journalists and correspondents of foreign news agencies and media, who carry out their activities, permanently or temporarily, in the territory of the Republic of Albania.

Necessary documentation

• The request of the body that wants to accredit its journalist or correspondent in Albania, addressed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs;
• Valid passport of the journalist or correspondent;
• Biography of the journalist or correspondent to be accredited;
• Two photographs of the journalist or correspondent.

Procedure steps
The applicant makes the request, submitting the documents specified in the column “Necessary documentation” to the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

Time needed to receive service: Within 30 days

Validity period: Until the end of the calendar year.

Costs: 1,500 ALL
