Albania was elected member of the Intergovernmental Working Group of Experts on International Standards of Accountability and Reporting (ISAR), UNCTAD, for the period January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021, in the elections held yesterday in New York.

Albania’s engagement in this Expert Group serves to improve the country’s reporting in the context of meeting the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development Goals and to promote our best experiences in this field. The election of Albania’s representatives in international organizations and its objective of becoming part of the UN Security Council for the period 2022-2023 affirm the opportunities and capabilities that Albania offers in international organizations and Albania’s proactive role in them.
