In a Facebook post, Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Gent Cakaj announces the decision by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania about additional financial support for the National Council in Serbia to purchase textbooks.

This decision, according to Cakaj, will benefit Albanian students’ attendance of the instructional process in the pre-university institutions across the three communes of Presheva, Bujanovc, and Medvegja.

‘The decision is designed to ensure increased school attendance in general, and preservation of the national identity, in particular. Albania remains committed to allocate greater attention to the Albanians across the region and in the Diaspora overall,’ Cakaj writes. ​
