The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had an online conversation with the Federal Minister of European Union and Constitution of Austria, Karoline Edtstadler.

In a Facebook post, Cakaj informed that the conversation was focused on the measures taken by both countries to defeat the pandemic and their cooperation to face all the consequences of COVID-19.

Moreover, Cakaj emphasized that the discussion with Minister Edtstadler was focused also on the preparations that Albania has undertaken, to continue the good work in the negotiations process for EU membership.

Furthermore, Minister Edtstadler during the conversation, expressed one more time the full support of Austria in Albania’s path towards the European Union.

“Regardless of COVID-19, we continue to be focused on the fundamental priorities in the process of the European integration.”- ensured Cakaj in the end of his post.
