The Thessaloniki High Level Conference was held today, with the participation of all the ministers of foreign affairs of the region, some EU member states and senior representatives of the European Commission.

Regarding his participation in this video conference, in a Facebook post, Cakaj said that the discussions focused on the coordination of actions in the process of gradual reopening of borders, economic recovery and joint efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19.

“We all unanimously agreed to increase cooperation in the field of health, agriculture, tourism, transport and interconnectivity,” said Cakaj in his Facebook post.

Also, the Head of the Albanian Diplomacy Cakaj expressed confidence that regional cooperation and cooperation with the EU are crucial in the joint fight against the pandemic.
