During the intensive week in the Presevo Valley, the acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, announced via his social networks that he had held a series of phone calls with his counterparts, starting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey, Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, Foreign Affairs of Italy, Luigi Di Maio, Head of Diplomacy of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó and with the Secretary of State for European Affairs of France, Mrs. Amélie de Montchalin.

The calls focused on the joint fight against the pandemics and the coordination of stances for the gradual opening of borders and the restarting of direct flights.

Among other things, Cakaj expressed his gratitude on behalf of the Albanians, for the help that these countries have given to Albania, both after the earthquake of November 26 and in the fight against COVID-19.
