During his stay in Sarajevo, the Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Regional Cooperation Council, Majlinda Bregu.

The discussion focused on recent developments in the Western Balkans, where it was emphasized the inalienable importance of regional cooperation and the necessity of taking state responsibilities in the development of interconnection policies, free movement of the common economy, as an essential part of the European integration process.

During the meeting, Cakaj expressed gratitude for the open approach of the Regional Cooperation Council, as well as for the valuable work of Mrs. Bregu in promoting regional cooperation.
