The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, sent today a letter to the executive director of Apple, Tim Cook, asking from him to take the necessary measures, to include the correct borders of the Republic of Kosovo in the Apple Map.

“The Republic of Kosovo is recognized by the majority of the democratic states in the world as the International Court of Justice has decided that the independence of Kosovo is in complete accordance with the international law. Therefore, we expect Apple Inc. to take the right decision by putting the borders of the Republic of Kosovo on the maps of its services.”- Cakaj emphasized in a Facebook post.

Furthermore, Cakaj expressed that Albania will continue its unsparing support for the Republic of Kosovo, in an unconditional way and in every circumstance.
