The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a conversation today with the leaders of the Albanian List in Montenegro.

Cakaj emphasized via a Facebook post that the unification of the political forces from Ulcinj to Malësi, to run with a single electoral list is an expression of the clear vision of the deep commitment to elevate the Albanian position in Montenegro.
“This list has the public support of the President of Kosovo, Mr. Hashim Thaçi, the Prime Minister of Albania, Mr. Edi Rama, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Meliza Haradinaj-Stublla, among others. After the joint success in the Presevo Valley where the support of Kosovo and Albania was vital in the results, we are now united to support the Albanian List in Montenegro”, – said Cakaj.

Furthermore, the Chief Diplomat Cakaj said that the biggest divisive actors that today accuse for division, have worked diligently to divide the Albanians in many parties, making the single list impossible, for personal interests and in service of foreign plans. However, there is much more left to tell about this.

The Minister emphasizes that the most important thing is to support the Albanian List.

“That is why, we are calling on our Albanian brothers and sisters that are living in Montenegro to go and vote massively the Albanian List. This is the right way to address it, with people of high moral and intellectuals, in order to elevate the quality of the Albanian representation and to preserve the Euro-Atlantic direction of Montenegro”, – writes Cakaj.
