The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, congratulated via a Facebook post the agreement concluded in the White House between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia, as an extraordinary step towards full normalization of relations and mutual recognition.

According to Chief Diplomat Cakaj, this agreement will not only create the preconditions for a rapid economic development of the Republic of Kosovo, but it will also shed light on the fate of the missing people, as one of the most painful part of the war in Kosovo.

Furthermore, Cakaj added that the recognition of independence of the Republic of Kosovo by Israel is a sign of return of its just cause in the international arena.
