The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a meeting today with the Ambassador of Israel to Albania, Noah Gal Gendler.

Cakaj informed that the importance of the recognition of Kosovo from Israel was discussed during the meeting.

“This huge step does not only do justice to history, but also opens new horizons for developing many advantageous projects between the Republic of Kosovo and Israel.”- writes Cakaj on Facebook.

Cakaj emphasized that after the formal recognition, the necessary procedures are expected to be concluded for establishing the diplomatic relations between the states.

“Of course we discussed about moving forward with some important economic projects, not only between Albania and Israel.”- concluded chief Diplomat Cakaj his post.
