The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, in the framework of his official visit in Skopje, had a meeting with the Chair of BDI political party, Ali Ahmeti.
“He played an extremely important role and has given a priceless contribution in the process of the integration of Albanians in state institutions, the increasing the representation in central policies, supporting the integration of North Macedonia in NATO and the integration of North Macedonia in the EU.” – Cakaj wrote in a Facebook post.

Cakaj also informed that with Ahmeti they discussed, among other issues, the undisputable importance of the Albanian factor in North Macedonia and the importance of concluding the talks between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia with mutual recognition.

Further, Chief Diplomat Cakaj, expressed the conviction that Albania will continue to play an active role in strengthening the Albanian factor and its constructive work for deepening regional cooperation and developing good neighborly relations.
