The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, had a meeting today with the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev.

Cakaj in a Facebook post said that the meeting with Prime Minister Zaev focused on holding the First Intergovernmental Meeting and the importance of working together for further advancing towards the EU membership.

“Related to the developments in the region, among other issues, I emphasized that the only sustainable solution in the dialogue between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia is the one who includes mutual recognition”- said Chief Diplomat Cakaj.

The Acting Minister Cakaj, expressed that another great news from this visit was the support of North Macedonia for Albania in its bid for a non-permanent seat in the Security Council 2022-2023.
