Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs

The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, during his stay in Skopje, met Deputy Prime Ministers, Artan Grubi and Nikola Dimitrov.

The meeting of the Acting Minister Cakaj with Deputy Prime Minister Grubi focused on discussing some projects in infrastructure and energy, which should be the focus of the next intergovernmental meeting.

“We shared the same view about the unparalleled rise of the Albanians in the central institutions of North Macedonia and the fact that the Serbia-Kosovo dialogue must be concluded with the mutual recognition.” – Cakaj expressed in his Facebook post.
As for the meeting with Deputy Prime Minister Dimitrov, Cakaj emphasized that the topic of the discussion was the work of the two countries towards the First Intergovernmental Meeting.

“Like we worked together from June 2018 with the screening process, we agreed to cooperate together in a technical and political level, to accelerate the process of accession in the European Union.” – concluded Cakaj his post.
