The Acting Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Gent Cakaj, informed via a Facebook post that the Government of Albania has decided to give the necessary financial support to the Albanian National Council in Montenegro, to start their work in opening libraries with books written in Albanian, in Ulcinj.

Chief Diplomat Cakaj emphasized that this project, with a special importance in strengthening the precious historic and cultural heritage in Montenegro, led by the Council and supported by Albania, will continue in Tuz, Guci and Plave.

“In the meantime, we are going to continue with an active approach and intensive work to improve the position of Albanians in the region.” – expressed Cakaj at the end of his post.
